Egg-cellent

Another hip hoppity happy Easter has come and gone.  Matt dyed eggs, had a small egg hunt in the yard, and in the highlight of the day, sang with the children's group at church.

Lots of Easter eggs - thank you, Easter Bunny!

Matt was very brave at church - the children sang in front of the whole congregation, which was quite a bit bigger than normal due to the holiday.  They sang three songs; I've clipped the video to just show the last one because it highlights his single line: "Jesus is love."  However, since he hasn't mastered his "L" sound yet, it adorably came out as "Jesus is wuv."  It. was. awesome.  Several people came up to us after the service to tell us just how cute the boy had been.  I tend to agree, but see for yourself:




We are so proud of him for doing this.  The choir director said yesterday she's thinking about handbells for them next.  That should be interesting.
