Star Wars ride? Check. Toy Story ride? Check. Live action Indiana Jones show complete with rolling boulder and fire? Check. Best park at Disney? Check.
We loved Hollywood Studios. While Matt's favorite park was Animal Kingdom, Charles and I totally enjoyed ourselves at Hollywood Studios. This is the park with Toy Story, Cars, Phineas and Ferb, the Muppets, and Star Wars. Star Wars, y'all. STAR WARS. While there aren't a huge number of rides there, the ones they have are awesome. Pure awesome.

Our favorite thing was Star Tours, a Star Wars based virtual 3D ride that is different every time you ride. It shakes you around in your chair while you crash land on the ice planet Hoth, make the jump to light speed, and dodge Imperial cruisers. I do not remember how many times we rode this, but it was one of those rides where you get off and go straight back to the beginning and get back in line. Even cooler was the fact that occasionally Darth Vader and some Storm Troopers would be wandering around outside. Pure awesome.

We also loved the new Toy Story Mania ride, although the lines for this one were insane. Once aboard, however, it was worth the wait. This is another 3D themed ride that places you inside classic carnival games with the Toy Story crew. We were skeptical of all the 3D rides, but for the most part they were excellent.

We continued our Toy Story adventure with lunch at Pizza Planet, just like in the movie, complete with arcade games. Two words: cappuccino cupcakes Yum.
Since it's Hollywood Studios, there are lots of shows celebrating movie moments. We saw a car stunt show with Lightning McQueen, and a great Indiana Jones action show, with lots of fire, smoke, and guys twirling swords. Good stuff.

| The boy enjoyed this one - lots of fast cars and stunts and fire |

Being the Christmas season, one of the special features at Hollywood Studios is their holiday light spectacular. Millions of lights synched to loud Christmas music - think two city blocks worth of lights flashing in time to "Feliz Navidad." Wow.
This is the one I can't wait to go back to; next time Matt should be tall enough for the Aerosmith Rock-n-Roller coaster. Which should be pure awesome as well. Can't wait!
