Yes, it's been almost a year since I've updated the blog.  I am aware of that.  It was an exceptionally busy year.  We have the medical bills to prove it.  But, since it's a new year, and I am entering a new decade in my life, I am (once again) going to attempt to do a better job.

Yes, a new decade - Monday I turned the big 4-0.  Charles and my friends here threw a little shindig to celebrate (mock?) this milestone, complete with presents and ice cream cake.  Oh, and a tiara.  They got me my first ever tiara.  It is shiny and sparkly and I love it.  In fact, I'm considering wearing it every day.  That's not too much, right?
